Although visiting a cemetery may not be on your top ten things to see while on vacation, the Columbus Cemetery is famous for two reasons. The first, it’s believed that Columbus was buried here for a short time in the late 1500s. The second, it’s the location where Alberto Korda took the famous photo of Che Guevara. Although there have been some minor changes from the original pose, the face of Che is one of the most recognizable images of Cuba’s history.

If you want to know how Cuba was back in the day make sure you go to Old Havana. The architecture is one of the many things that’ll stand out here. Walk along the cobblestone streets that take you to some local cigar shops or art galleries and be greeted by the local ladies dressed up in their cultural clothes. The market has many arts and crafts, some of which include paintings, sculptures and beautiful humidors.
