St Vincent and the Grenadines seem to be a bit out of the way for travelers but it’s a favorite for those with boats and those that have a bit of extra cash to spend. Considering it draws in the beach bums with moola, its ironic that St. Vincent is actually quite rugged and relaxed. There are a lot of choices though. Great restaurants, lively nightlife and very cool hotels make it worth your while. But it’s beaches and various coastlines are probably the biggest drawing point.
On the sheltered Leeward Coast sits the Chateaubetair. This bay is filled with reefs and beautiful fish, making it ideal for snorkeling. If you need some more wind in your sail, head over to the Windward Coast. Here, the sand is black and one of the more popular beaches is Argyle. Its crashing waves are a sight worth seeing. Brighton Beach is a bit more secluded and its waves are perfect for surfing. Most of the windward beaches make it hard to set up shop for the day, but Black Point is a beautiful, long beach that welcomes you to enjoy the view. The south-east coast is well known for the Blue Lagoon. Palm trees and sand are the best setting to drop your anchor. Villa Beach and Indian Bay have beautiful white sand and are also great for snorkeling.
Book with HotelsbyCity and know that there’s least one decision you won’t have to make in St. Vincent. That’s a good thing considering there are so many other decisions for you to make, like which beach to sit at, which restaurant to eat in.
