With a fantastic mixture of French and African cultures, Guadeloupe is the place to go for beautiful beaches, great rum and stunning nature. You’ll be able to enjoy beautiful falls at almost any corner of the area. Make your way to Chutes du Carbet and enjoy a fantastic view, especially of the stunning waterfalls that cascade over the mountain. There are three falls in total. Fall number two is the easiest one to reach. The 30-minute hike is pretty easy and you get to cross over a suspended bridge. It’s also the largest of the falls as it drops close to 360 feet. If you have more time, trek on over to the first of the three waterfalls. This one will take about four and half hours. The fall itself isn’t as stunning as number two but the scenery along the path is truly beautiful. The third fall is ideal for pro hikers looking for a great workout.
The Cascade aux Ecrevisses, a beautiful waterfall located in the centre of Parc National de la Guadeloupe, is a great reason to explore this national park. Rainforests filled with tropical flowers, a volcano, and lush hillsides will greet you at every corner. And getting here is half the fun. The mountain drive is filled with scenery that is out of this world.
