Directions

O’Hare International Airport (ORD): Approximate driving time to the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers is 35 minutes and distance is 20 miles. Chicago Midway Airport (MDW): Approximate driving time is 25 minutes and distance is 13 miles. Driving directions from O’Hare International Airport: Head east on I-190 and continue east on the Kennedy Expwy/I-90. Take the Ohio St exit. After 11 blocks, turn right onto Fairbanks Ct, which turns into Columbus Dr. At the top of the hill, turn left into the hotel driveway. Driving directions from Chicago Midway Airport: Head north on SR-50/S Cicero Ave. Continue to I-55 and head northbound. Merge onto Lake Shore Dr by turning left. Exit to the left onto Columbus Dr and continue all the way across the river. At the stoplight at E North Water St, take a right into the hotel driveway. Getting there: Taxis ($26-$35) and shuttles ($16-$25) are available from both airports. Rental cars are available online, but they are not practical due to heavy traffic and the high cost of parking. Getting around: There are numerous stores, restaurants, and attractions within a half-mile of the hotel, and many guests choose to explore the surrounding area on foot. Public transportation (less than $5) and taxis are also convenient for navigating the downtown area. From late May to early September, a complimentary downtown trolley provides transportation to many of the city’s most popular attractions.
