Beautiful lodge, gorgeous rooms, location couldn't be better (right on whitefish lake and a 30 min drive to glacier nap) and an absolutely wonderful staff make us want to return! We were concerned when we first arrived in the evening and our room wasn't ready, the front desk didn't even hesitate and offered us another room, unfortunately it was over the air conditioner units and we would not have been able to sit on the lovely deck so my husband asked them to pals work with us, we were tired and still had days of traveling to go, they offered us a room overlooking the lake, so needless to say we were quite happy. However people need to notice that for the money they are paying there are some weird quirks about the lodge: kitchen area totally useless: no microwave to heat leftovers or popcorn, no stools to sit on, no plates, forks much less knives, (at sunset we opened a bottle of wine and went to slice some cheese and fruit, opened the cabinets and Nadine opener, no anything except 2 coffee cups and yeah, 2 wine glasses. No paper towels etc. looks very nice though, we had to borrow from the dining room! Bathroom is gorgeous. I loved the soaking tub, however the toilet we thought was broken, everyone had to flush it 5-8 times, unbelievable. and the toilet paper was absolutely awful, some of the harshest we've ever experienced (not to mention we had to ask for a second roll on the 3rd day which housekeeping was quite quick in providing). Between the kitchen and the toilet we just couldn't give the resort an outstanding, will probably return again but will bring our own toilet paper with us.
Great staff, beautifully appointed rooms, superb location to glacier National park.
Kitchenette totally dysfunctional: bathroom while gorgeous toilets and toilet paper the worst.
