Connected to one of the best convention spaces in mid-Wisconsin, the Holiday Inn is a leap up from the former space they had on the north side of town. The pool area (complete with water slide open for a few hours each day) is a great place to relax and take small kids while dad is on the convention floor. Lots of restaurants and a great grocery store across the street coupled with a fridge and microwave in room make this a good choice for the budget traveler.

Nice location with great water park for small kids.

Seemed to be training a lot of new staff.

Hotel is new and comfortable, nicely decorated, with great beds and plenty of space. But they need to police their hallways better -- too many drunken partiers for weddings. But, overall, it's fine.

Spacious room, high ceilings, great bed, great bathroom.

Hotel is noisy; drunken, loud wedding-goers woke us up in middle of night.

If they would change the pillows that would be great. Best I remember to bring a good pillow with me next time.

Felt safe, and the place was clean and friendly.

The pillows were uncomfortable. I had to get a towel to put under my head to get comfortable.

The 149-room Holiday Inn Stevens Point Convention Center is located directly off I-39 and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, full service hotel are a shuttle to businesses within a five-mile radius of the property, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. The property has 38,000 square feet of combined meeting, exhibit, conference, expo, and banquet space. Area landmarks and attractions include the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, the Stevens Point Brewery, Rib Mountain State Park, the Sentry World sports complex and Green Circle Trail, a 24-mile nature trail which circles Stevens Point.

Families who stayed at this Holiday Inn were very impressed with the indoor water park with its three-story slide. Those here for conferences said the rooms were modern, squeaky clean and well equipped. There were some minor gripes that some members of the front desk could have been friendlier. Despite this most guests said they would stay here again on future visits to Stevens Point and would recommend the property to others.
