The 131-all suites Residence Inn by Marriott Milwaukee Downtown is housed in the century-old historic Marshall Fields Building and provides quality extended stay accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. All the suites at this five-story, non-smoking hotel have separate living and sleeping areas and a fully equipped kitchen. Items included in the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, midweek manager’s receptions, high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is connected to the Shops of Grand Avenue and within walking distance of major downtown businesses. There are three rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 80 guests.

All the suites have a kitchen with conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, television with cable news and movie channels, VCR player, wet bar, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.
