Nice Suite - posted on 11/02/2006
Our suite was nice and roomy - great shower. Only negative was the chintzy food offered at the social hour and small selection of drinks available. The hot breakfast buffet is a nice touch.
UW graduation - posted on 03/01/2007
This is a great place to stay if you are in town for UW's graduation weekend. Spacious suites with kitchenettes. Free breakfast was lacking, though. Sunday 9:00 a.m. - things not refilled, staff reluctant to refill, many people waiting. It WAS UW graduation weekend and the hotel was FULL. Lobby was terrific. Saturday afternoon no one in large pool. Recommended to families staying for graduation weekend.

This was a very nice hotel. The feature of complimentary socail hour was a great benefit since the hotel did not have a bar. Breakfast was wonderful in the morning i was expecting cold ceral and friut but there was much more.
Nice room for 5 - posted on 07/20/2005
We had a niece traveling with us, so we had 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We needed to sleep 5. This room accomodated the group very nicely. It was very clean. The kids loved the swimming pool-we were the only ones using it from 10:20 to 10:45 at night. The breakfast was relatively good. A large selection of choices, with make your own waffles, although each in the group didn't like certain items. Very nice stay over all.
GREAT! - posted on 03/31/2005
I stayed at this hotel while participation in the ESPN Great Outdoor Games at the Alliant Energy Center. The rooms were clean and came with all the ammenties of home! The Hotel staff was great and friendly. The indoor pool was very relaxing along with the spa!
Your Room Type is NOT Guaranteed Here - posted on 10/31/2004
My colleague and I stayed here because of its convenience to the Alliant Energy Center. Our reservation was made several weeks in advance for a room with two queen beds. The room we received had one queen bed and a sofa sleeper. When we called the front desk we were told that our room with two queen beds had been given to someone from an organization that had a contract with the hotel. We were told that no more rooms were available with two queens. Later that night, a colleague of ours who was travelling alone, checked in and was given a room with two queens!
