The Madison Concourse Hotel is my favorite in the area. It is located in downtown Madison, within walking distance to the Capitol, shopping areas, and a variety of wonderful restaurants and bars. The hotel is clean and offers many amenities that I listed above, along with a great restaurant and lounge. It also offers beautiful banquet areas for weddings and other special events. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in spending an enjoyable night in Madison.
This hotel has many amenities, including a pool, sauna, very nice exercise room, and massage available.
Thinking we had already checked out, the maid came into the room to clean while we were still sleeping in bed.

Easy access, friendly easy registration, good elevator, nice clean hallway to room, very nice sleeping beds.
Bedding was soft and nice for sleeping.
Shower water took a long time to get warm. Never got hot.

Over the entire hotel was nice, clean and quiet. I would recommend but would not choose to stay there again unless I owned a small vehicle. If you own a full size truck or big SUV, parking is a nightmare! Underground parking has too low of ceilings and you will get stuck and/or hit hanging signs, if not careful. Once realized you are too big for the next parking level because you will scrape the top of your truck it's too late and turning around is very tricky. It would have been better if the higher ceiling spots were reserved for large vehicles only and the lower ceiling levels for smaller vehicles. Other than parking the hotel was nice.
Clean and quiet.
Parking was a nightmare.

This multi-storied property in downtown offers all necessities for an enjoyable stay. Almost all guests were impressed with clean, tastefully decorated and spacious rooms with comfy beds, good food, lovely ballroom, location, views, helpful staff, convenient airport shuttle and Sunday brunch. However, spotty Internet was a major gripe.
