Green Bay has many wonderful museums and sites for visitors to enjoy. The National Railroad Museum is an amazing collection of trains and related items. It is one of the very best museums of its kind in the nation. Bay Beach Amusement Park is great for the little tikes traveling with you. Even the young at heart will enjoy their time here. If you’re interested in history make your way to the Heritage Hill State Park where you’ll get a chance to see what life was like back in the 18th century. Those interested in football’s history will enjoy touring the Packer Hall of Fame.
One of the biggest reason’s people flock to this city though is for the legendary Green Bay Packers. The Lambeau Field has sold out more consecutive games than any other city, which is even more impressive considering the local community is made up of about 100,000 people. It is quite the experience to sit in the stands and cheer with the huge crowd.
Although it’s a pretty small city, Green Bay has its share of happening neighborhoods. The Stadium District is ideal for the sports fans and with places like Bret Favre’s Steakhouse, how can it not be? Washington Street and the Historic Broadway District are the places to go for hip clubs and trendy restaurants whereas Olde Maine is geared for the college kids. Wherever you spend your evenings though, Green Bay has a great vibe that’s waiting for you to enjoy.
