An excellent Holiday Inn Express. Staff is friendly and responsive. Room was clean. Breakfast was much improved from our 11/07 visit.

Very accommodating, clean, friendly, with easy access to major interstate highway. Close to Madison yet distanced from the main city. Close to small city (Deforest) for your convenient personal needs, such as gas, groceries, laundry, restaurants, etc.

The pet-friendly Holiday Inn Express Deforest/Madison is located off Interstate 90 at exit 126 and provides affordable quality accommodation for both business traveler and vacationer. The three-story, 71-room hotel is close to the Dane County Regional Airport and offers a complimentary shuttle to that facility. Other items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast buffet, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 50 guests. Corporate offices close to the property include ABS Global, Evco Plastics, the Ball Corporation, Sanamax and Firestone Building Products. Area landmarks and attraction include Camp Randall Stadium, UW Kohl Center, University of Wisconsin Madison Campus, Overture Center for the Arts, Olbrich Botanical Gardens and the Madison Monona Terrace Convention Center. The property is a 30-minute drive from the Devils Head ski area.

Most visitors to Deforest who stayed at this Holiday Inn Express said they had a very comfortable stay. The rooms have all been upgraded, have very comfortable beds, and are well equipped. The team of employees here was praised for providing the best possible service and had lots of helpful hints about sightseeing, shopping and dining. Pet owners were delighted with their special rooms where the family pooch felt right at home. Many clients were impressed with the complimentary breakfast and said they would return to this inn on future visits to the area.
