The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Appleton is in the heart of the Fox Valley and comprises 66 suites designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. Each of the suites has a separate living and sleeping area and a fully equipped kitchen. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the EAA Air Museum, Childrens Museum, Oneida Casino, Green Bay New Zoo, Houdini Plaza, Fun Set Boulevard and shopping at Fox River Mall and the Outlet Mall.

Visitors to Appleton were impressed with the reasonable rates and clean and comfortable suites at this Residence Inn. The location is good, within walking distance of the Fox River Shopping Mall and several restaurants. The full kitchens enabled some home cooked meals, thus saving on restaurant bills. Most guests said they would recommend this hotel to others and planned to stay here the next time they were in the area.
