The common areas were beautiful and remodeled. The sleeping rooms must have been in transition because the bathroom tub/shower was less than stellar.

Close proximity to entertainment.

Lobby - beautiful; room bathroom - disgusting.

Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites located in Huntington, WV is a very convenient place to be if you are visiting Marshall University and other local attractions. Set in one of the most peaceful sections of town, this rather simple-looking hotel boasts a welcoming lobby, a dedicated staff, and a restaurant that serves a delectable menu. Guests with children will be delighted that kids can eat free at the said restaurant while those who do not want to dine in public can always call the front desk for room service. Staying at this hotel is a great way to enjoy your vacation in Huntington, West Virginia especially if you are not fond of frills and extra pampering. This hotel provides a straightforward list of amenities and services. Beds are very comfortable though and the rooms are well-maintained. Just 10 minutes away from the airport, the hotel also boasts a shuttle service. The only problem about this service is that you have to reserve a seat the night before.
