Hotel is a remodeled cheap brand. First room smelled like sewerage...second room was occupied...third room was just right. But I won't stay here again. Too much trouble and not up to the Fairfield Inn standards in my opion.

A very nice hotel for an overnight stay. A short walk to Capitol Street, where there are locally-owned restaurants and shops, including an independent bookstore with coffeeshop. The post office is even closer and is open late. The performing arts center is right across the street. The Hotel was nice and clean and offered free internet and a very nice well-stocked complimentary breakfast.

We were very pleased. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Breakfast is definitely a plus.

Room smelled terrible. Staff was very friendly and tried to fix the incorrect room type when we checked in. We stay at Marriotts all the time and they are usually excellent, but the Fairfield is somewhere we will never stay again. They need to take Marriott off the sign out front.
