The staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choices and good coffee! Coming off the freeway from the north can be a bit confusing at first.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast amenities.

Need new linens - bedspreads and blankets were pretty old.

The pet-friendly Comfort Inn Tacoma is near McChord Air Force Base and comprises 90 rooms designed for both the business traveler and vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the property, local telephone calls, fresh-baked cookies and beverages available every afternoon in the lobby, a copy of USA Today, in-room coffee and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 40 guests. The hotel is located off Interstate 5, five miles from the Fort Lewis Army base. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, the Museum of Glass, Tacoma Union Station, the Washington State History Museum, Wild Waves theme park and downtown Tacoma. The hotel is 22 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The majority of visitors to Tacoma who selected this Comfort Inn for their stay were delighted with their decision. The rooms here are clean, comfortable and well-decorated. There were some guests who were not satisfied with the service they received from the front desk. Fortunately these people were in the minority and many found the cheerful crew of workers to be both efficient and friendly. Several clients highly recommended the property to fellow travelers and said they would stay here themselves on future visits to the area.
