Spokane House revives itself! - posted on 03/08/2007
They are renovating this wonderful landmark after a fire destroyed the dining area and lounge. It is to open around Easter. It is certainly one of my favorite memories of this town. Give it a try...The staff is excellent and the rooms were very clean!

Friendly staff and clean room - posted on 09/27/2006
Stayed here for a couple of days on a business trip. The rooms were very clean and the employees were very helpful. I will be staying here on my future trips.

The place was scary looking. The glass on the door to the elevator had been smashed in. The pool was filled with dirt and garbage. The area did not look or feel safe. The electric sockets were loose. We did not leave the room once checked in and left as early as possible in the morning. I was very disappointed and felt I disappointed my family by reserving this place.

The hotel is very old, but our room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. To be fair, they are renovating the property, so hopefully it will improve. Plumbing was loud and made disturbing/scary noises in the middle of the night. A little creepy. Heard the restaurant is good though.
Needs Improvement: Plumbing, decor

Horizon Airlines got me this room when my flight was cancelled. The place is old and needs to be renovated. Worse thing, no working internet connection.

If you can afford a bit more, then skip this place for sure. Didn't even get the room we had reserved in the first place and it cost more than what was quoted and there was a hideous bug and it is very old. It is not nearly as nice as the pictures of the property would have you believe.

Nice quiet hotel with great restauraunt/lounge and live entertainment. Rooms were clean, and well heated. I would definetly stay here again.

Go find a nicer hotel - posted on 07/10/2005
This place is a dump! It needs new carpet (smells), beds (it was actually a 'murphy' bed that came out of the wall), etc...don't waste your money!
Disappointed - posted on 06/06/2005
Although we had reservations, we did not stay here. We were disappointed that the "seasonal" pool was not open by late May (it's Spokane - what's the point of an outdoor pool?) But mostly, linens did not fit beds - we were short-sheeted! Desk changed rooms - same problem. We stayed elsewhere.
