Customer Reviews for Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway

Upscale hotel at a great value! - posted on 11/08/2006

I stayed here when attending a convention as the WA State Convention Center. Hotel was outstanding. Price was much cheaper than downtown hotels. Service was outstanding. Free shuttle to downtown very flexible. Hotel is 10 minute walk from Convention Center if shuttle not chosen. Highly recommend; I will take my wife here during our next visit to Seattle.

Disappointed - posted on 09/20/2006

I was not impressed. The staff seemed incompetent. And not just the hotel staff, but the restaurant staff as well. After reading the other reviews I had high hopes, but I was disappointed.

Great place to stay - posted on 09/09/2006

We stay here when we come up for Mariner games because they provide the free shuttle and the continental breakfast. If I could take the Silver Cloud at Lake Union breakfast room and put it on Broadway, it would be perfect! :)

happy vacation - posted on 08/29/2006

our stay was great, the beds, staff, pool were great.IThis is a smoke free place, ( I smoke husband does not) but they have a nice outside smoking area. The walls are a little thin ( you can hear other rooms phone ring, maids etc.), but over all it was great

Fabulous room - updated, clean and quiet, but because the hotel is slightly out of downtown, one needs to take the shuttle. The hotel's breakfast leaves something to be desired - limited selection, not enough seating. Also, they charge way too much for parking - $14/day - I was told this was b/c we were so close to downtown, yet they have to offer a shuttle to the downtown area...doesn't make sense to me. Anyways, would recommend, but be prepared to pay the extras!

Be Pampered! - posted on 08/01/2006

An excellent hotel for so many reasons! Location, Staff, Decor, Comfy Beds, Continental Breakfast, Complimentary downtown shuttle! You will not be sorry that you booked yourself into this "Gem". The rooms are very clean. The hotel is smoke free! Near everything with an indoor pool and fitness center. You can even check email in the 24 hour business center. We will stay here on our next visit to Seattle! Hats off to the entire team at the Silver Cloud Broadway Hotel!

Great hotel - posted on 06/28/2006

Hotel was a great buy, location was short walk to downtown, free shuttle service to downtown and most cruise line piers. Very clean rooms, excellent cont. breakfast, front desk staff could have been a little more professional, but for the price and location, this hotel is tough to beat! Would definately stay again. We stayed here before a cruise, and my girlfriend is tough to please, and she enjoyed the hotel thoroughly.

Seattle - Jan 2006 - posted on 01/24/2006

This is a relatively new property. I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the free internet access and the convenience of being close to downtown Seattle. My only concern was that the Restaurant and room service closed at 10:00 PM. I wished it would have stayed open until at least 11:00 PM

Great Hotel for Convention Goers - posted on 12/11/2005

I was in Seattle for a convention and was most impressed with this hotel's accomodations and service. We used the shuttle quite a bit and found it a very large benefit to the hotel. The front desk was very accomodating and helpful for my group. We had a wonderful experience at the Silver Cloud...much recommended!

Incredible - posted on 12/06/2005

This hotel is by far the best I have stayed in ever. The hotel is tastfully decorated, the rooms and public areas are very clean and smell good. The amenities are outstanding for the price and most of all the service is exceptional. The van drivers were so flexible on destinations and pick up, drop off times.

Excellent - posted on 12/06/2005

This hotel had wonderful, accomadating staff, they were very informative and willing to go out of their way to help us. I especially thought that the shuttle service was worth staying there alone.

Incredible and Excellent - posted on 12/06/2005

A groups of friends and I travelled to Seattle for a convention and shared a room. We received the best service from the staff when we arrived at midnight, the shuttle service is great and they take you anywhere in the downtown area at no cost. The continental breakfast was great and the cleanliness of the room and size was superb. I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a quality room at an affordable price and service that well exceeds some of the most famous and expensive hotels. The most bang for your buck is to be had at the Silver Cloud Hotel on Broadway in Seattle

nice hotel - posted on 11/18/2005

The hotel has nice rooms that are clean and have microwaves and fridges. The breakfast is great and they have a room with computers and internet. (free use) The service (front desk during the day) is a little lacking but that seems to be a problem everywhere.

Silver Cloud with Silver linings - posted on 10/13/2005

This hotel was fabulous. The hotel offered a free shuttle downtown (by apt), free internet hook up in room, continental breakfast and 24hr desk staff, pool, and gym. For a continental breakfast, it was very elaborate with a variety of pasteries and breads, milk, juice, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, fruit...not only that, but if you didn't want to eat in the restuarant (guests only) you could take it to your room. The only down side was during the busy times parking was horrible (first come first serve) and waiting in line (with a spacious lobby it was okay). I would definately stay here again!
