About the Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway

For the most part the brand name describes the customer experience very well. A good night's sleep, quiet surroundings, free breakfast, pools, professional staff, business services and some great locations with views and conveniences. I like these hotels because they're all within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Meeting room and banquet service make this a great for small meetings as well.

A perfect hotel for the person who loves the night life, club scene or has some connection to the Seattle University or the Community College nearby. Yes, if a loved one is hospitalized at one of the premier health care providers located nearby, the site is comfortable for short or long stays. It is consistent and quiet and for me... homey. Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway Accommodations

The property is less than 5 years new. 179 guest rooms make this a comfy stay without the crowds. Guests have their choice of double queen rooms, King bed rooms, with jacuzzi, suite arrangement etc. Rooms are equipped with premium cable TV w/pay per view, microwaves, refrigerators, wireless Internet, multi port phones with free local calls, daily newspaper and coffee makers that come with local Tully's brand coffee roasted. Hair dryers are available as well as irons and ironing boards. The hotel is 100% NON-Smoking.

Amenities offered

An indoor pool graces the premises, with jacuzzi, a rarity indeed among hotels in this vintage. Great to bring the kids too! There's an IHOP adjacent and the Cayenne Bar and Grill is onsite. Its location is close to Seattle University, "Pill Hill" complexes of hospitals, Virginia Mason, Swedish etc. Located on Broadway, which is the main north south street on Seattle's Capitol Hill, home to mansions, cathedrals, Seattle Asian Museum, Volunteer Park and the Seattle Central Community College. The I-5 is 10 blocks away and the downtown core isn't much further. There's covered, secured parking, free shuttle to area attractions, lobby wireless Internet, gift shop, concierge, fitness center, business center, dry cleaning and complimentary breakfast and guest laundry services. Guests much show valid picture ID to register and must be age 21 or over.

Taking Interstate 5, north (exit 164A) or south (exit 165), use the Madison Street exit, head east up Capitol Hill to Broadway. Site is at corner of Broadway and Madison. If taking a taxi from the airport, ask your driver to take 509/99 (it'll be our secret). See my blogs for tips on this point
