About the La Quinta Inn and Suites Seattle Downtown

Any hotel that allows pets gets kudos from us. This downtown La Quinta Hotel is practically across the street from Denny Park, named after one of the earliest settlers, David Denny (he and Louisa Boren were the first to obtain a marriage license in Seattle). No greater excuse to explore Seattle's first City Park (1884) than to let Fido or Trixy check their P-mail. This hotel is conveniently located on a not very busy street, between Seattle Center Grounds and downtown Seattle. Close to theaters, restaurants as well as parks, lake and bay. Walking distance from Whole Foods is another plus.

Walk Fido and Trixy in Seattle's very first City Park (pets are welcome at La Quinta, some restrictions apply). Rock-on 3 blocks away at Paul Allen's Experience Music Project (EMP), marvel about the view from the top of the Space Needle, and take in an opera, the ballet, or a great play (McCaw Hall, the Rep and Intiman are equally nearby). Zoom across the mono-rail to Westlake Shopping Center to play and shop downtown, or spend the day on Queen Anne Hill, from top to bottom worth your while. Excellent restaurants abound and Whole Foods Market is just up the street from La Quinta Inns and Suites. This La Quinta has 7 floors with 72 rooms and 12 suites and had AAA triple diamond rating. The hotel has wi-fi, and all rooms have Premium Cable Channels, Dataport phones, voicemail, ironing boards with irons, coffeemaker and alarm clock. Some rooms have microwave ovens. Local calls are free, so is parking, and USA Today. In case you need a meeting room, those are available as well.
