After booking our room @ the Holiday Inn, I read comments from other guests and their stay, and was kind of concerned. But when we arrived and checked into our room it was one of the cleaner rooms I have been in. The food was excellent at the Emerald Grill and we has a family really enjoyed our stay.Thanks. PS. The Space Needle looks great in the background.
Great location - posted on 05/11/2007
Seattle is a pedestrian-friendly city and this hotel is about 5 blocks from the Space Needle and 3 blocks from the free downtown bus service. Try the gumbo at the Emerald Grill (which provides room service menu) - not bad for the NW.
Good Hotel for a Reasonable Price - posted on 11/24/2006
I work in the hotel industry, so I have learned not to expect much when I book a room based on location. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the business center was well equipt and very handy. The room service hours are limited (as is the restaurant) but the staff is very helpful in advice to fit a crazy business schedule. A car service is also available at a flat rate. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Holiday Inn has impressed me on this round. I believe I will have to take another look at them!

Great value. Staff is helpful and receptive. Very clean & modern rooms. Pillows could be better. Self-parking @ only $4.50 (compare to $20 at other nearby hotels). Free high-speed internet.
Good Parking but not-so-good Housekeeping - posted on 09/20/2006
We stayed in the Kids Suite (kids room has a separate door and bunk beds). Although the housekeeping/condition of the room and hotel was generally OK, the Bathroom Floor was dirty, and the Kitchen Floor was dirty and sticky. How difficult would it have been to mop the floors?! On the plus side, the parking garage, with unlimited in/out self parking only cost $4.50/night, which is very reasonable compared to other Seattle hotels.

Our stay here was great; the desk clerks were curtious; the room was clean and it was right next to a restaurant.
Very Nice - posted on 03/24/2006
We came here on the spur of the moment with our 4 kids. They provided a crib for free, and at the restaurant kids all ate for free. We were within 5 mins driving of the P{ike Market, the Science Center, Childrens Museum, Space Needle and Aquarium. Room was nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Not for extended stays, but a very nice place. Only things kids missed was a pool.

Hotel had no gift shop, ATM and soft drink machine on my floor only had fruit juice. Staff not rude, but not friendly either. Rooms average.

Very nice hotel for the money. Walking distance to Seattle Center and we did walk to Pike Market but took Monorail back. Very clean and friendly staff. Would stay there again

the rudest staff I have ever encountered in my 12 years of traveling...this is supposed to be a full service hotel, yet atm, giftshop, lobby coffee, pool, and vending machines are all located at other hotel, which has a free breakfast...staff at this hotel were stubborn and unwilling to help with needs
