When we got to our room, it was small, the TV was in a cabinet near the ceiling (we had to crane our necks to watch it), and there was no bathtub. It might have possibly been the worst room in the hotel. In comparison to our stay at the Westin Hotel earlier in the year, our room there which had sweeping views of the city and water, and the rooms were big with large wall to ceiling windows. I don't think we would return or recommend this hotel to anyone we know unless they get a suite. There are better deals around Seattle with better views and amenities.
Location, attention to detail in room decorations.
Size of room, TV, no bathtub.

If you stay on the river side, it is the most awesome view of the bay ever. The location was the best for walking to all the sites on the bay.
We upgraded our room for a small price and had a water front view of the bay.
When I went to check out they charged me 35.00 a day for parking. I did not see the sign.
The Edgewater Hotel is Seattle's ONLY waterfront hotel. Looking at it today with the warm lodge knotty pine look and feel, it's hard to believe it also has an important place in rock music history. Pier 70 shops, the Bell Harbor Cruise Ship Terminal and the spectacular Seattle Sculpture park are just steps away. Ride the waterfront bus or stroll Alaskan Way from end to end from this location. Walk up the hill and the Space Needle is ready to greet you.
