Customer Reviews for The Roosevelt Hotel A Coast Hotel

Great stay - posted on 08/24/2006

This hotel has a great location. Within walking distance of Pikes, and Pioneer Square. Lots to do downtown or catch the Monorail to the Seattle Center. The front staff was very friendly and extremely helpful!

nice hotel - posted on 04/24/2007

this hotel is located near shopping and other tourist attractions. It was a little far from the Federal Building where I needed to go for business. I got the single room and it was perfectly fine. Although the bath is small and only has a shower, the room was very nice and it was fine for one person as advertised. Its a good price for a hotel in that location.

Neat Hotel! - posted on 12/12/2006

Our bathtub must have had leak in lining as it was soft and move around and not safe. Staff said soon it would be renovated and yet another staff said no way. I wish the piano would have a player each evening. Staff friendly. Bar and restaurant next door great! Great location!

We were very disapointed that the advertised feature of the holtel was jazz music on the piano in the lobby. Since we are seniors, our days were busy and we looked forward to relaxing with a martini around the piano. The piano is there but unfortunately, no music!! The feature is aslo presented in the material in the room. We feel this is false advertising.

Great Hotel - posted on 08/16/2006

This beautiful hotel was convienently located in downtown Seattle. The front desk people were very helpful and the king bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a hotel. The only downside to the hotel was in order to park your car there, you had to park valet which was quite expensive.

great location - posted on 06/18/2006

I have stayed in this hotel before and it has been nice. But, this time I had a very small room with only a double bed and just a shower in the bathroom. The elevators broke down twice and they were very slow. The bar and restaurant were great. And it has a great location for business (convention center) and personal (downtown, waterfront) Easy walking.

Great for Single Travelers - posted on 03/17/2006

Traditional single is perfect -- everything you need and nothing you don't. Service is exceptional; ask and you receive (in fact they're a little TOO helpful). They even made an exception at checkout so I could catch my shuttle on time. Would definitely stay again!

The "fitness center" left much to be desired. Just some dumbells, treadmill, and an exercise bike in a room not much bigger than a closet. My room was no great shakes, either. A view of a brick wall. Room service was quick, though.

comfort with convenience - posted on 09/10/2005

Stayed here for a large convention - very convenient to the convention center, at an unbeatable price. Room was a corner suite, with large bed in small room, but very comfortable. Bathroom was very small, but functional. great value for the price. And Von's selection of local beer on draft was amazing.

The Roosevelt is a prime spot hotel in downtown - posted on 08/26/2005

When I entered my room I got excited. The room highlight is certainly the bed. They're firm and extremely soft, comparable to a Postur-Pedic mattress and I slept very soundly. Frontdesk service is always available and informative. A workout center is available 24 hours though I didn't have time to visit it. The restaurant is an alright spot to get a good meal just downstairs at street level. The Roosevelt is within short walking distance of everything that you'd want to visit. It?s a relatively inexpensive hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. I?d definitely return here for future stays.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. The staff was phenomenal, very attentive and exceptionally helpful. The location was great for the wharf, Pioneer Square, and Safeco Field.

Great night sleep - posted on 03/03/2005

I think the best bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Shower was wonderful too. Service was great. Only thing we did not like was that the ONLY mirror in the room was in the bathroom.
