Marqueen Hotel in Seattle Washington

Great knowledgeable, helpful staff. Hotel is dark,dim. Rooms are huge. Charm is in the age of the hotel, though a little spooky at night because of the age..but we welcomed the change from a typical hotel room.

Felt like I was living in a more elegant time. No "white box" rooms here! Spacious, high ceilinged rooms with hardwood floors, big windows, in a real live neighborhood. Staff was very responsive to needs and professional. Only problem was upon medical issue that limited mobility...access to rooms can be complicated if stairs are difficult. On the other hand, staff ran a block to help me with transport. Courtesy van was a real perk; wine reception quietly refreshing, full kitchen very convenient. Great to be in a "neighborhood" rather than a strip mall! Good value, will go again!
