Worth the $$ - posted on 04/30/2007
When we first arrived the heater broke in our room. They quickly changed us to another room and were very apologetic. The rooms were really big, loved that since we had a baby. The restaurant was ok. The bar was fun at night with live music. We went to the coffee bar in the A.M. and they had starbucks lattes, made me happy. We took a free shuttle to the mall. The parking fees were high-$14/day but not outrageous. We had a very pleasant stay. Would stay there again.
Awful start - posted on 04/02/2007
Checked in at 11:30 pm and was given a room with dirty towls on floor and an unmade bed that seen recent "action!" Dirty glasses IN the sink. Front desk acted as if I put them out req they clean the room. Will never go back, there are too many other hotels in the area to tolerate that.
Bad Experience - posted on 03/15/2007
The hotel appears to be a nice place to stay at first. Then you are hit with a 14.00 parking fee per day, Then the room was tiny, the bathroom was not clean, the hallaways were cold and my key did not open the outside door by my room making me take the long way around. The staff for the most part was rude or not helpfull from the front desk to the lounge. Better and cleaner places to stay.

They gave us a room already occupied! The room we ended up with was outdated and in need of repair. The hallway carpets are dirty and stained. The hallways and lobby were very cold. The elevator door kept sticking and would not close. They tried to charge us after we had prepaid

From the moment you walk into the Double Tree you know you are going to have a good experience. From the beds to the fresh baked cookies, everything is wonderful.
Outrageous Parking Charges - posted on 12/13/2006
Unexpected and outrageous parking charges (14.50 a day) for hotel guests, mingled in with their allowing airport people to park there as well. When questioned their response was terse: "we have a shuttle to the airport that runs all day and night." Well, that doesnt help people who need rental cars does it? They also bungled my check out bill, but that was fixed. Room was a nice size and comfy beds, but it was next to a VERY noisy ice machine that gurgled all night long.
Close but No Cigar - posted on 11/05/2006
While this hotel is close to SeaTac airport, it is far from what was expected from a business traveler. In addition to being cold from a temperature standpoint the service was indifferent at best. The hotel has a series of wings which you reach by elevated walkways, which appear to be unheated. One bright spot- the belldesk was exceptionally helpful with dinner recommendations.

Bed was wonderful. Costs $14 to park and $13 for Internet. I'm sure we'll get a charge for the amount of T.P. we used. Very long walk to the room using two elevators and a skywalk. There are better places than this.
Good night - posted on 06/14/2006
We always stay at the Double Tree when at SeaTac. The airport is just 2 minutes away. I like the northwest atmosphere of woods, Bow Lake, and their landscape. Our room had a wonderful fresh smell of cedar. A new carpet and comfortable bed with down comforter made for a good night's sleep. The $14 parking fee must pay for the security. Good room service.
Yikes - posted on 03/13/2006
Normally the Doubletree hotels are good, but this was a nightmare. The whole place is dark and smells of mold and plaster. The rooms are outdated, and to top it off, the internet connection in my room didn't work (no wireless!)
Hidden Fees! - posted on 01/17/2006
The hotel is nice. Service was good. I was a little upset to learn that they want $14.00 a day to park and $ 12.95 a day for high speed internet.

The scenery was beautiful..loved all the trees. The heated pool looked very inviting and the breakfast was quite good. Best feature was the wonderful Sweet Dreams bed..what a welcome that was! The long indoor walk to the rooms are the only downside really...but you see the outdoors the whole way so it's not all bad.
Would Probably Stay Again - posted on 06/21/2005
Nice hotel & ameneties were fine. Good location. Nice cafe w/ internet access. $12 parking fee too much. No refrigeration for our toddler's milk & snacks. Spa/massage services way overpriced. But overall, great hotel and would probably stay there again.
Stay in the Tower - posted on 06/02/2005
The regular rooms are regular. The tower rooms are not much more money but the room is larger and better. I only stay in the tower. The iron in the room was defective and on the lowest setting it burned a hole through my daughters dress.Try out the irons before using . The beds are firm ..something I don't care for. Food is good but pricy. Great pool area.spendy parking.Clean hotel.I've stayed here several times. You'll enjoy the night club at the top of the tower. Great View. Rooms are quiet.
