The exterior of this hotel doesn’t do it justice. I have driven by this hotel a hundred times. It’s when you walk in and see the fire on a rainy night that you are really glad you came. This hotel is a Kimpton hotel, since 1992 and it is all about the celebration of wine from our region. Kimpton Hotels promises that each and every hotel will tell its own story. Each guest room is named for a different Washington State winery featuring a décor of beautiful, custom-designed cherry furniture complemented by the rich fabrics that capture the romance of Washington’s' wine country and tell a story celebrating the world of wine. All rooms have a/c, full tubs and 400 thread count linens. Some views are of the street, some views are interior views. The hotel was built originally in the 1920’s, so rooms are not of uniform size and shape.
Who can resist a wine reception in the lobby every evening, L’Occitane products in the rooms, 24 hour room service, 24 hr concierge, complimentary newspaper, morning coffee service, private refreshment center in all the guest rooms, sound proof windows, down and hypo-allergenic pillows, in-room spa services all wrapped up in attention to detail that guests love? Follow signs to I-5 north. Take Seneca St. Exit (a left hand exit – do not confuse with express lanes Follow Seneca St. staying in the left lane and turn left on 5th Ave. Stay in the left lane, ½ block ahead is Hotel Vintage Park on the left at the corner of 5th Ave. and Spring St.
From the north:
Take I-5 south. Take Union St. and turn left on 5th Ave. for 2 blocks.
