The Westin is a very nice hotel. Service was excellent. Room was very nice. View was great. Easy to get around the city w/out a car. A little pricey...but you only live once.
A hotel that tries, and sometimes succeeds. - posted on 12/07/2006
We stayed in Seattle for four nights at the Westin. The staff was always very courteous and extremely professional. That and the bed made the Westin worth it. We were a little shocked at how much extra we would need to pay for in-room internet access, and that is hardwired access, its only wireless in the lobby. Amounts to about ten plus tax per day. One needs to sign up right at 12:01pm to get the most benefit since they reset all of the accounts at noon. Perhaps we were just expecting too much in the realm of technology from a four diamond hotel in the heart of Seattle of all places.

Room was clean except for stains on carpet. Bed was heavenly. Service at front desk was friendly and they called up to be sure room was OK. Staff promptly sent up a small fan I requested. Annoying how they charge for things like sending out a FedEx package. Restaurant normal high price. Good downtown location, great views. Non smoking room was fresh and clean.
Best service at the Westin Seattle - posted on 09/06/2006
We arrived in Seattle around 10:30 and expected to check in our bags with the hotel as check in was 3:00pm, however, to my surprise we were able to get early check in as well as the best view of Puget Sound. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful and the service was even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our hotel stay at the Westin. The Westin never disappoints.

The room was large and the view was fabulous. We had our two daughters on the pull out couch and we were on a king with a soft down quilt. The Westin is a quick walk to shopping and the market. The lobby and coffee shop were excellent. Great value.

We stayed here for our honeymoon hoping for a nice, comfortable room with a great view. We got a very small room with little area to move around and a view of the building next door. The location was perfect, however, but that was the only good thing about the hotel. They mainly cater to business travelers, not to couples and families.

This was a beautiful hotel. It had magestic views and a wonderfully friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for me, except a better rate. But it is a Westin!!!!
great first time stay in Seattle!! - posted on 07/02/2006
This was our first trip to the great city of Seattle. The hotel made our trip worth the long flight from Dallas!! My six year old loved the view and the pool. Hotel was close to just about everything. Only had to take our rental car out once over the three and half day stay.

We arrived at our hotel after spending seven days at sea on a cruise ship. Our service was wonderful and the rooms were extremely comfortable. We had a fabulous view of Seattle to make our stay more memorable. I'd return to this hotel for sure!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location to downtown. Staff very accommodating. We arrived in Seattle at noon from our Miami flight, thought we'd have to wait till check-in time. Staff let us check-in right away and put us on the top floor with direct view of Space Needle and Port of Seattle. Spacious and beautiful rooms ( we fit 4 people comfortably). Great night sleep. Would highly recommened to others.

Stayed here for a 1-night pre-cruise hotel stay. Rooms were elegant and beds/linens very comfortable. Location is great - close to monorail taking you to Seattle Center and it is within walking distance of Pike Place Market. View from the higher floors is beautiful. Taxis are readily availalbe if needed.

There were 4 of us booked into the room, and it was only set up for 2 (linens, towels, etc). We had to keep calling for the extra items we needed. The TV didn't work (they replaced it), and the main electrical outlet (on the desk where the lamp and computer would go) did not work either. Other than that, the king size bed was very comfortable, and it's great to have a pool.

Check in was quick, rooms were freshand very comfortable, view was great, location was perfect when using the city bus system to go anywhere. Wonderful food and shopping were close by. We will come back again soon. Weather was picture perfect that week too.

I travel to Seattle about once a month and have stayed at almost every hotel. Nothing beats the service and accommodations. I won't stay anywhere else now.

I have stayed at the Westin in Seattle so many times I have lost count, and enjoy it tremendously. The staff & hotel are superb, and I personally rate it as one of the top five hotels in the U.S.!!!

Westin rooms are great. Beds and bath are awsome. This hotel seemed not that nice in public areas for the price. Otherwise, it was Westin as expectred. Location was also good for the turist attreactions and the convention center.

WE STAYED THE NIGHT BEFORE GOING TO ALASKA. WE HAVE STAYED AT WESTIN HOTELS BEFORE AND ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR BED. THE VIEW WAS AWSOME AND I'D LOVE TO STAY THERE OUR NEXT TRIP. THE BATHROOM NEEDED TO BE UPGRADED THOUGH.
