Sheraton Seattle - posted on 09/29/2005
We liked the Sheraton Seattle for a short stay. It is a good location and the rooms were very clean. The staff was fine. It was crowded with conventioneers, but that was OK. We did not eat there.

This was a great hotel, centrally located, near many attractions and restaurants. My room was upgraded. It was spacious, with a beautiful view of the city. The bed & linens were luxurious. The room was very comfortable.
Heavenly - posted on 08/02/2006
The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with no audible noise at all from the hall or adjacent rooms. The location is superb, an easy walk to Pike Street Market and lots of Seattle attractions. The pool is on the 35th floor with a great view through all-glass walls. The jacuzzi was great. This is my favorite hotel in downtown Seattle.

Parking costs an additional $20 after paying for the hotel as well as $10 per day to use the internet
close to shopping and convention center - posted on 07/12/2006
This hotel is good if you're going to the convention center or want to shop. You could shop all day within a four block radius. We got some exercise by walking down to the Pike market and back. Warning to people who have never been to downtown Seattle: steep hills throughout downtown area. You must try the Union Square Grill around the corner from this hotel. The hotel is ok, and we stayed on the club level floor, which is good for breakfast and snacks. Bathroom is small for club level and the bed was not soft.
Satisfied in Seattle - posted on 07/05/2006
The Sheraton is located on Pike Street, 6 blocks from the Market. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The employees were very helpful. We rode the public transportation everywhere.
A fine place to stay - posted on 01/20/2006
I did not avail myself of all of the amenities of this hotel during my brief stay, however, the room was spacious and had everything one would expect of a 4 star hotel, including internet connections, well stocked refrigerator, plush towels, good mattress. Room service was great. The location is terrific; you can get anywhere downtown from here, and there's lots of shopping, theaters, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. While I was here someone told me they were afraid to go out at night because they didn't know if it was safe. Seattle at night is a safe city, and it is generally okay to walk around at night anyhere around the hotel.
Meets expectation - posted on 07/27/2005
This Sheraton hotel seems a bit older than the other ones I have been to, but they do managed to maintain service at a high level. They made a mistake by charging us around $90 for room services we didn't ask for. They did correct the statment for us so it's okay. The hotel is within walking distance from major shopping and tourist attractions in seattle so it's very convenient. Generally what you would expect from a Sheraton hotel.
My experience... - posted on 04/24/2005
The location is great, other than that it sucks. The rooms are old and dirty...our socks got dirty walking on the carpet. For "my convenience", they add an 18% gratuity to everything then ask for a tip on top of it. How convenient. Everything is way over-priced. I don't mind paying the cash if I get the service in return. The room price my seem good, but they will nickel and dime you on everything else. $26 parking for guests? $13 hamburgers? ouch
Great Service - posted on 04/04/2005
I stay here weekly. Excellent location. Service is outstanding. Bar staff is very friendly and helpful. However, this hotel needs real restaurant.
The View was Fabulous! - posted on 03/01/2005
My boys and I stayed here the long weekend and had a great time. The motel is very nice, service was fantastic, and we had a great time in the 35th floor pool & hot tub! (the view was breath-taking!) The location was perfect, being right downtown close to everything too. The only thing was the Pike Street Cafe in the Motel, was very expensive. For a family, you will want to eat away from the motel. We will definitely return.
No star - at best. - posted on 01/15/2005
This is not a four star hotel. Rooms are cramped and worn. Interiors dated. The staff, including hotel manager, were rude and indifferent at best. We tried to check out. We were told that 2 of our 3 days were non-refundable. We checked out anyway. Oh. And the Chihuly art? It?s actually pictures of Chihuly art - hanging above the toilet.
