Everything is small in this hotel. My wife and I stayed at this hotel because we needed to catch a morning train. If your schedule permits and you prefer Best Western, I recommend the one near the Space Needle.

It's close to the Amtrak station for morning trains.

The area looks like a ghetto.

The Historic Best Western-Pioneer Square Hotel is closely associated with Seattle Pioneer Henry Yesler. It is a half block to Elliott Bay, waterfront attractions and the State Ferry Terminal. It is close to restaurants, clubs, galleries, the Underground tour and a great antique mall. Qwest Field (Seahawks) and Safeco Field (Mariners) are also within walking distance. The Train Station is 3 blocks away and the hotel is within the free Metro Bus zone.

It is a beautiful Euro-style-boutique hotel that was built in 1914, restored in 1995 and renovated in 2005. I'd ask for a Juliet Balcony room. The hotel is listed in the National Register of Historical Places and recently received Best Western's Chairman's Award. There are 72 guest rooms and 3 suites. Choice of King, 2 doubles or 2 twins rooms. Rollaway beds and cribs are available and the hotel is 100% non-smoking.

There's a deluxe continental breakfast. Each room has a private bath, Neutrogena amenities, hair dryer, coffeemaker, individual climate controls, iron and ironing board, remote color TV, voice mail, phones with data ports and free high speed Internet (wired and Wi-Fi). Casino with free shuttle by taking the Bainbridge Ferry.
