This hotel was a very nice, upscale hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious with a nice view. Complementary wake up service, tea/coffee and a newspaper in the morning was great. I would recommend this hotel to someone visiting Seattle.

It is on a hill and not fun to walk to but the beds were so nice to rest my tired legs in.

The view was very nice and the bed was very comfortable too.

The water in the shower never got hot. It just stayed warm.

A little farther out then the other four we have stayed in downtown Seattle. But overall an excellent value and great hotel.

Excellent value. Excellent Staff.

In need of a renovation in the next couple of years but that is being very picky.

The pet-friendly Renaissance Seattle is located on Madison Street, just minutes from Qwest and Safeco Fields and provides luxury accommodation for both the upscale business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this 553-room, non-smoking hotel are local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee and a morning newspaper. The 28-story hotel is close to the Pike Place Market and boasts stunning views of Puget Sound and the mountains. There are 27 rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Courtyard Ballroom, can accommodate 650 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Pioneer Square, the Seattle Convention Center, the Space Needle, University of Washington, the Seattle waterfront, Seattle Aquarium, Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Shoreline Community College and the Woodland Park Zoo.

Most visitors to Seattle who stayed at this Renaissance had a great time. They were impressed with the friendly and helpful staff that had good ideas about the best places to dine and shop. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. There were some minor gripes about the noise from the expressway and items not working, like refrigerators and coffeemakers. Despite this many clients said they would stay here again if they could get good rates and had no problem recommending the property to others.
