With more nicely furnished suites than comfortably standard size rooms, this rustic style four story hotel on the charming Bainbridge Island is a delight. It's within easy walking distance to the island’s ferry terminal (a 35-minute ride to Seattle), upscale shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The hotel is also across the street from the town’s major grocery store where visitors can enjoy gourmet treats, homemade soups and baked goods. Mention a desire to visit the nearby Clearwater Casino and the manager will arrange for shuttle service. The island is beautiful and inviting for visitors to walk along the marina to view Puget Sound or pause to sip coffee at one of the intimate cafes and chat with islanders.

It’s a bit upscale but worth every penny. It offers easy access to the ferry terminal (for a day trip to downtown Seattle), a quiet but beautiful location surrounded by Puget Sound and natural wonderland of the Northwest.
