Currently this hotel is under a major renovation. Several of the floors are completely empty (no walls, etc) and the construction starts at 6:30am. It is too noisy. Also there is lots of construction in the surrounding area which adds to the noise level. A nice thing is that it is a completely smoke-free hotel so there is no chance of being put in a smoking room when you don't want one.

For the kind of money I paid for the 2 rooms I would have expected better. Wallpaper was coming off the walls, generally seemed a little run down. For that kind of money here in Vegas you would a lot better room.

A Day in DC - posted on 01/06/2007
I stayed for 2 nights because the rates on the hotel/air package made it worth its while. At this time they're remodeling and I was informed that it would be finished by late April. There is also major construct (destruction?) next door. Staff was very helpful and was always smiling. Only 6 blocks from the Metro station. Food was very good. I would have given it a 4 if they weren't remodeling. I think the great package rates for this motel was because of remodeling. If you're looking for good cost cut for DC, this place + air would work.

This was a great hotel for our family vacation. It was a perfect location for the sites we wanted to visit...4-6 blocks from 2 main Metro stations. The pool was a wonderful end-of-day bonus for the 100+ degree temps. we experienced. Helpful staff and good service. Nice c-store in lobby.
Nice hotel, good price - posted on 12/21/2005
Our experience was more than satisfactory. It's a nice, middle-of-the-road hotel within a few blocks of two Washington Metro stations. The staff is great - very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the city. The only thing (more of an oddity than a complaint) was that the bathroom didn't have a towel rack, so there was no place to put the wet towel after showering except on the counter.

I stayed in this hotel for a business conference. I thought it was very nice. Restaurants near hotel were great (but some are pricey).

This hotel is everything that you would expect from the Marriott. I'm from a smaller city, so I was a bit supprised by the parking fee, but everything else was perfect. The hotel chef overshadowed all of the other great things about the hotel with a delicious meal.

We really ejoyed this place. The rooms were nice. The bed is very comfortable. But make sure your room is not over the club downstairs. It's so loud and it lasts til 2am. The parking is $23 extra a night. A block down it is only $5 a night. I don't understand why they want to rip of there customers. There is internet access for 10 a day. and it is close to everything. Overall a very nice place.
