The River Inn, a modern boutique hotel, boasts the best personalized service. The hotel, facing the historic Foggy Bottom- the residential area, is within comfortable walking distance of Georgetown, C&O Canal and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Georgetown is lined with several shops, multiplex theatres and eateries. The GWU Metro Station is just 1-1/2 blocks from the property.

This convenient and comfortable hotel offers well-appointed suites. But there are no onsite recreational facilities. Most of the guests were happy with location, helpful front desk staff, inviting neighborhood, kitchen and roomy suites. However, some travelers were disappointed with cost of using business center, dated kitchen and suites with shabby amenities. Read our customer reviews?
River Inn Accommodations
The hotel offers 126 spacious suites that are equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet. Each suite features a full kitchen with marble floor, six-inch writing desk, armoires and luxurious bedding for a good night’s sleep. The Potomac One Bedroom Suite, lending itself to the sweeping views of the Potomac River and Foggy Bottom, also has a CD / DVD player.
Amenities offered
Dish offers trendy American food and home-style biscuits. There are three meeting rooms to host various business and social events. The guests can borrow CDs and videos from the onsite library for leisure. To keep in shape, they can work out in the exercise facility.
