Chain: Four Seasons
The Four Seasons in Georgetown is a prime location and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and historic homes. This hotel is surviving on the Four Seasons reputation but the management and service is not up to the standards of the Four Seasons in most major U.S. cities. The staff is arrogant and superficially polite without really caring. The service that earned this chain their reputation has gradually declined at this property. You can do better in D.C. If you are a celeb or recognizable name, expect top service; if not, don't even go near the place. It's cold; no way feels like home away from home. All of the superficial things are there but none of the important essentials. It doesn't have that homey feel. Best aspect is the lobby lounge but even that is not the meeting place it once was for locals. Restaurant does serve a good power breakfast and the hotel is in an excellent location.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
The property itself is conveniently located and is very attractive. It has a lot to offer but the management and staff leave a lot to be desired. It's very cold and they lack in customer service. Read our customer reviews?
