This is the place to stay if you want to tour the nation’s capital. The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill has easy access to all the attractions. You can walk to The Smithsonian and the National Mall, tour government centers, visit monuments and museums, cheer on sports teams - all just minutes away. This 864-room property claims to be the premier luxury hotel in downtown Washington. It has all the facilities and fine friendly service to back up that claim. Excellent business and fitness centers and a heated indoor swimming pool are among the amenities.

Most former clients raved about the location, the friendly staff and the comfortable rooms. There were some complainers who didn’t like the food or the prices. But this is a big hotel and you can’t please all the people etc. People who stayed around for a longer stay said they found it easy to explore downtown Washington and enjoy some of the fine restaurants there.

The rooms feature modern, caramel and gold-toned decor, with dark wood furnishings. Each has an elegant bathroom with hairdryer and you have a choice of one king or two double beds. Amenities include a work desk with Internet access, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, satellite TV and cordless phones.
The Park Promenade, open from 6.30am until 11pm serves breakfast favorites, special theme buffet lunches and classic dishes for dinner. The hotel’s Perks, Coffee & More serves snacks and sandwiches to eat in or take with you. The well-equipped fitness center opens at 5.30am and the business center is open throughout the day.
