The hotel is very nice and clean. The security is excellent. The employes are very nice and helpful. We felt the food in the restaurant to be too expensive.

Hotel sits in a high crime area of DC. Room was horrible- no AC, smelly, moldy.Customer service was horrendous. Checked out after 1 night and was charged for 2 nights stay.

The site mis represents this hotel....its is in a very poor area of town. i do not feel secure walking around this area during day or night. The view of the capitol is behind factory, freeway and mc donalds. litter around hotel.

I was shocked at the location. I expected to be in a relatively nicer area being located so close to the Capitol building. However, the hotel is located in what I feel was an unsafe area. Continuous sirens, and at the Taco Bell 1/2 block away, the employees are behind what looks to be bullet proof glass. We were told it was not a good idea to go outside the hotel after dark. A/C did not work well, water pressure not strong enough for a good bath. Employees were rude. Dining area...uh, well. No "finer restaurants"..just McDonalds and Taco Bell.

I travel a lot and I have to say this hotel is second to none. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and spacious. The outdoor pool is great, food is good...I will stay again and recommend that you do too.
