I booked this hotel at the last minute for a quick end of the summer getaway before returning the kids to college, so I wound up with a suite designed for the handicapped, so some of the amenities were built low for wheelchair accommodation, but this wasn't a hindrance. I chose the Marriott based on previous satisfying stays. I wanted a suite since my family needs a bit of room and I liked having the option of cooking in the room if I wanted to. The grounds, staff, location, price, and overall experience was what I expected from Marriott. If you don't mind dogs being allowed-and they didn't present the problem I thought they would-I'd highly recommend it.

The location, amenities, staff, continental breakfast and overall cleanliness and landscaping were excellent.

Dogs are allowed, although they all seemed to be well trained by the owners and didn't bark. I was somewhat surprised by this.

Nice large rooms with Kitchen, excellent courtesy breakfast provided at no cost. Large pool and basketball court. Great location.

I would stay here any time I am in the Williamsburg area. It was very comfortable and inviting and provided all the comforts of home. I only wish I had reserved for two days instead of one. The staff at the front desk was always polite and courteous and went out of there way to assist you.

Family and home style comforts.

Parking is shared and was a little tight.

Those here for an extended stay say this Residence Inn is the perfect place to stay. The suites are spacious, clean, comfortable and affordable. Those traveling with the family pet said this is one of the few places in Williamsburg that is pet-friendly. Many guests enjoyed the midweek evening receptions where they made new friends and traded tales about their travels. The employees were complemented for their friendly help and ability to solve problems promptly.
