We enjoyed staying at the Wingate and plan to use the hotel again in the near future. The room size was spacious and the service was good. We especially enjoyed the breakfast which had a large variety and was easy to access.

This is a very nice hotel, and the price was inexpensive for all the amenities they offered.

Desk clerks sloppy attire, looked like housekeeping staff. Clerk rude on phone. No access to towels at night.Not a 3 star experience.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near Virginia Beach/ Oceanfront at a affordable price( the beach is 20 minutes away and Busch Gardens is 40 minutes away). The free breakfast was delicious it included eggs, bagels, make your own waffles, sausage, juices, and coffee. At this price my family and I were able to go to both Virginia Beach, Busch Gardens and to a minature indoor Go Kart race track. What a vacation we will definitely stay

Staff was intelligent and courteous. Airport shuttle was quick and efficient. The hotel was clean, and access to freeways and the airport was excellent. The workout room had three cardio choices as well as weights. The 24-hour business center had two computers, a printer and a copy machine and was large and well-lit. The location was convenient for appointments in Norfolk as well as for playing tourist in Virginia Beach.

We were very pleased with the Wingate Inn! Definately better than the 3 star rating! The room was spacious and spotless. The lobby was meticulous and the pool area was very well kept. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful! We will definately stay at the Wingate Inn in our future travels.

Great hotel to stay for a weekend vacation. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Staff were nice and friendly. I loved this hotel very much. I will come to this hotel again!!

I am extremely pleased. The only two things that would put this place over the top is a bar and a restaurant. I would not let this deter you from staying. When my family or anybody I know is traveling in that area I would strongly advise Wingate.

The hotel was great. The front desk clerk apologized for not having our room ready when we were EARLY for check in!! The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The only problem we encountered was that our fridge didn't seem to be very cold. We called and someone did come up but told us "it wasn't a fridge, but a cooler". I believe this to be false and by the end of the stay it seemed to be keeping things a bit cooler. I would definitely stay here again.

the rooms were very clean, the free breakfast and cookies at night were great. no view from the hotel, but a nice place to stay. I'd go back.

This hotel was very new and clean. The room was large and well equipped. The breakfast was nice. They had a nice gym & indoor pool. Very impressive and nice for the cost.

large upscale rooms, well light rooms, work desk & high speed internet. Enjoyed my 3 night stay for business.
