The Econo Lodge I-64 & US 13, situated off Interstate 64, is about five kilometers from the Norfolk International Airport. The hotel is minutes away from BeachNear-Oceanview Beach, Military Circle Mall, Azalea festival/Botanical Garden, CBN / 700 Club, Chrysler Art Museum, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, the Naval Station Norfolk, the Battleship Wisconsin, the Virginia Beach Fishing Center and downtown Norfolk. Golf courses, tennis courts, and boating and fishing venues are five miles from the property. Several dining options are available within easy walking distance of the lodge. Airport shuttle, continental breakfast and coffee are complimentary.

This conveniently located no-frills hotel provides only basic facilities. Almost all guests were fully disappointed with non-smoking room reeking of cigarettes, shabby rooms, short linens, stained bathtubs, mal-functioning TV channel changers, bed bugs, used bed sheets, blood stains on pillows, roaches, prank calls from one of the motel employees, charges for cancelled reservation, mal-functioning room keys, overcrowded parking lot, urine smell in stairs, foul smell in rooms and worn out bedding.
