Good experience, as I received good value for my money.

Very convenient location to Norfolk NAS.

Coffee was left in pot in room, no alarm clock. Otherwise, great experience.

We always like this hotel, but on our last visit, we arrived at 3am and couldn't get in. Clerk arrived after 20mins, no apology. Couldn't check in for another 20 because a program was running on the computer. For some reason, I took pity on her and didn't file complaint, but that sucked. We drove from NYC to ORF to visit sick relative, and were exhausted.

The 146-room Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach/Norfolk is six miles from downtown Norfolk and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and pleasure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is located in the central business district of Virginia Beach. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, Norfolk Naval Base, Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Virginia Zoo and the Virginia Air and Space Center.

Travelers to Virginia Beach said this Courtyard was a great hotel in a great location, just 15 minutes from the beach, good shopping and fine restaurants. The cheerful crew of employees was helpful, efficient and had all the information needed to insure out-of-towners enjoyed their stay. Several clients noted that there were less expensive places to stay nearby but the extra dollars spent here were well worth while. Most clients hope to return to this hotel and had no problem recommending the property to others.
