They allow pets, and even allow you to leave them unattended (They call you if your pet gets noisy while you're gone). Also clean, spacious, easy to get to, and a decent breakfast.

This hotel is a dump. The halls were dirty with no ac. Ice machine broken. Room was substandard. Not a value at all!!! The staff was very nice. This is my first and last time staying at the LaQuinta inn!!!!!!!

We were traveling with a 7 week old. The hotel was clean or I would have left. The staff is nice. Dennys is attached with is great.

I just want to thank you all @ the Norfolk, VA location!! You all provided above and beyond service. From the front desk to the housekeepers you all were awesome. We stayed for 7 days as part of the Jr. Olympics group and with a packed hotel, you proved all your negative critics (traveler ratings) wrong!! We look forward to staying w/you all again!! Our entire stay was excellect. Resistration desk was smoothly operated, staff was very helpful and friendly - we had many questions that were always answered and extra efforts to assist us were taken. Would stay again!!!

The hotel was in a good location and was convenient for my needs. The continetal breakfast was one of the best that I have encountered and the hotel was clean and the personnel was friendly and helpful

Shower was VERY moldy, very gross. Housekeeping isn't very reliable to deliver clean towels when promissed. VERY friendly staff though. We checked in at 10am on labor day weekend! If the room, lobby, parking lot, etc were cleaner, I'd like this hotel much more.

My check-in went very smoothly. My original room was a smoking room and I requested a change. The staff accommodated my request but the door of the new room wouldn't open. When the staff tried changing key cards and closed the door, we were both locked in the room. What a hoot!!! All in all, it was a good stay.

My experience here was great. It is extrememly clean. The cleaning staff are great and they were always around in the mornings to give you anything you need. I was pleased to find a fridge,microwave,iron and ironing board in the room! The continental breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again if need be. They even have a bowl of dog biscuits in the lobby for dogs!

If you are going to Virginia Beach for a vacation, this room is too small to relax and enjoy. The bathroom is clausterphobic in size. If you are going to the beach, pay the extra money to be closer to the beach, it's worth it in the end. Nothing for children to do in the area.

The room is clean, nice and spacious. Eventhough it's not on the beach, but it's close enough. And the price is good!

We enjoyed recent stay at LaQuinta in Va. Beach. The room was comfortable. The breakfasts were great. The staff was courteous. We would stay there again

I was very impressed by the setup of my room. It seemed as though someone actually took the time to see exactly where a person was likely to turn/reach for what they needed. Even the hairdryer on the wall was the perfect distance from the sink and mirror. VERY GOOD wireless internet access with great desk, convenient plug and built-in dataport if needed. Security seemed good and for a hotel, felt relatively safe. Unfortunately breakfast had stale bagels, Really Lousy Coffee and the housekeeping staff was Way Too Loud Way Too Early each morning. Overall would stay there again though.

This La Quinta was one of the nicest I have stayed at and the price was very reasonable.Would definitely stay again when in the area.

No facial tissues in room, and no creamer for the in-room coffee. It would have helped if directions to the hotel were listed on the confirmation. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and adequately sized. Plenty of parking and right next to a restaurant. Not a bad value but I think Hampton Inns do a better job for the same price.
