Beautiful lobby, cute little bar, room to relax in the lobby outside of the room. Room was upgraded, comfy bed and flat-screen television. Quite as well. No concerns about noise and disturbances. I was very happy. Well lit parking lot.

Located in busy area, close to everything, 15 minutes from the beach.

I had a smoking room and had requested a non-smoking room.

Hotel could not provide non-smoking room or a room with 2 double beds upon arrival. I called day before arrival to verify check-in time and room accommodation requests.

Staff was accommodating.

I loved the hotel decor and the lobby was fantastic. The indoor pool was a plus; It was so hot outside the days we were there.

I liked the business type room.

The room seemed damp.

The 149-room Crowne Plaza Hotel Virginia Beach is located in the town center business district and provides quality accommodation at affordable prices for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this eight-story, full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local phone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. The hotel has easy access to Interstates 264 and 64 and is eight miles from the beach. There is 12,000 square-feet of meeting space available for business or social functions. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, Norfolk Naval Base, Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Virginia Zoo and the Virginia Air and Space Center.

Those who stayed at this hotel were impressed with the spacious rooms which each had a microwave oven and a refrigerator. The location was good, near the airport and close to lots of attractions, and the rates were affordable. Many visitors said the beds were extra comfortable and the small bar in the lobby was a friendly meeting spot. Some clients noted that this was an older hotel but it had been renovated and was well maintained. There were some gripes that the service could be better. Despite this most clients said they would recommend the hotel to others and would stay here again on future visits to Virginia Beach.
