Actually, a nice hotel in every way, but it is located on the western fringe of town. So, if that isn't where you are going to be visiting, prepare to drive. If the Short Pump/Innsbrook area is your destination, however, stay there.

With the exception of the item mentioned below, very clean and hospitable.

For some reason, the person who cleaned the room before my stay did not empty the trash cans.

This hotel was very nice. It was nicer than I expected it to be considering the hotels I have stayed in recently. It was very luxurious for a basic room. It had lots of space to move around and to relax in. The bathroom was very roomy and clean. I loved this hotel. I wish I could get hotels like this at this rate all the time.

They charge for breakfast and it was expensive

The 149-room Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Northwest provides quality accommodation at a reasonable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is close to the corporate offices of Capital One, CarMax, Circuit City, GE, Philip Morris, and Wachovia. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are three rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 50 guests. Shopping nearby includes the Short Pump Town Center, Regency Square and Stony Point Fashion Park. Nearby landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, the historic museum district, Richmond Coliseum, Richmond International Raceway, James River Plantation, Deep Run Park, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, the Virginia Aviation Museum and the University of Richmond.
