Absolutely fabulous. After my stay at the Hampton it would be hard to consider anywhere else.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.

If you like deep-sea fishing, take a ride on the Triple F Charters and Big Minnow Sportfishing. If you like Richmond native Edgar Allan Poe, you'll enjoy the Poe Museum which is only 7.5 miles from this hotel. Richmond is also home to many historical sites from the Civil War-the Museum of the Confederacy, the Battle of Cold Harbor site and the White House of the Confederacy shouldn't be missed. Yes, I would recommend the Hampton Inn in Richmond-East, Mechanicsville, Virginia to my family and friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel has nice clean rooms with plenty of great amenities. The complimentary breakfast is good and has a variety of hot items. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding. There's a nice pool and fitness room.
