This hotel was a nice surprise. The staff was helpful and the rooms were nice. Even the landscaping outside was a surprise. For a very inexpensive motel, it was a real treat.

Newly renovated, nice rooms.

There was an additional pet deposit at check-in.

Located in close proximity to the University of Mary Washington, Best Western Central Plaza hotel is in prime location for leisure travelers. The hotel is especially popular among Civil War reenactment enthusiants and those attending the annual Boy Scout Jamboree. Serious shoppers will appreciate the convenience the location offers to the Spotsylvania Towne Center and Central Park Shopping plaza that are adjacent. There are also plenty of upscale eateries within walking distance for you to try out as well as other worthwhile shopping areas and the Fredericksburg Expo Center. If you are interested in the areas history you can head to the close-by Historic Fredericksburg. Guests can take advantage of a free continental breakfast that's served hot every morning until 10am. If feeling hungry, stop by the hotel`s restaurant for a nice dinner.
