I have stayed before but this time I really felt yucky being placed in the smoking room. I asked for a standard room and they moved me into smoking based on their reservations and unavailability of nonsmoking. I did not care for that at all.

Proximity to Radford university.

They put us in a smoking room that really stank!

Guests are close to all of the area's attractions, which include Claytor Lake State Park, New River Valley Speedway, New River Trail, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. If business is the reason for the trip, the hotel is near several major corporate headquarters for companies such as VOLVO/MAC, Danaher Motion, Xaloy, Bond Cote, Findlay, and James Hardie. When guests are not exploring the area's many activities or taking care of business, a variety of dining is available in the area, including a breakfast area in the hotel itself and a Shoney's right next door. With clean, comfortable rooms at great prices in such a convenient setting, this is a great place to stay while visiting the area for any reason.

Guests report that this is the favorite spot for parents of students at the local university because of its cleanliness and amenities. The hotel is conveniently located to most area activities. The staff are very polite and prove that Southern hospitality is still alive and well in this area. A warning: this hotel can be hard to find because it is behind another hotel. In all, this is a great place to stay in Dublin.
