For the business and leisure traveler the stay was second to none the rooms were more then expected.

The location and the pool were excellent.

The sign to turn in was small we missed it 2 times.

The 93 all-suites SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chesapeake Suffolk provides economically priced accommodate well suited to families on vacation and the business traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is located in Hampton Roads and is within easy driving distance of Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk and Suffolk. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a breakfast buffet, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social events that can accommodate 50 guests. Corporate offices within a short drive include the Lockheed Martin Center, Sysco and the Northrop Grumman Shipyard. Area landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, shopping at MacArthur Center and Chesapeake Square Mall, the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, the Childrens Museum and the Atlantic Intracoastal waterway.

Families say this is a great hotel for touring the area. This property has been getting great reviews for its accommodation, fair rates and friendly staff. More recent visitors report the property is on the decline. Hopefully management will read those reviews, and this one, and get the hotel back as one of Chesapeakes more favored spots to stay. A few smiling faces, and some much needed maintenance, is all it takes to stop that decline.
