Comfort Inn Monticello is situated just north of historic downtown and conveniently adjacent to I-64. Nearby points of interest include Monticello the historic house where Thomas Jefferson lived. This site also serves as the ideal lodging for those visiting University of Virginia students. Downtown Charlottesville is easily accessible from here. Visiting families can go on outings to nearby parks such as Shenandoah National Park. Additional attractions include Ash Lawn-Highland, Michie Tavern and the Virginia Discovery Museum. he area also offers plenty of dining possibilities; however guests can dine in for the first meal of their day as a complimentary breakfast is provided, it includes Belgian waffles, eggs and sausage. All guests are invited to read a complimentary copy of a national newspaper in the comfort of the lobby. To remain on the ball, coffee drinkers can head down to the lobby at any time for an energizing cup of Joe. Business travelers who like to work in open areas will appreciate having access to wireless high-speed internet throughout the property. Conveniently located near popular attractions. Common areas are very clean throughout. Accommodations feature many appointments which are neatly presented and some with comfortable beds. Also, the free breakfast is a real treat that comes standard with fresh waffles that are well stocked. The staff is well-trained, welcoming and very service oriented. The manager is very hands on and can be often found hanging around the hotel. The pool area is pleasant. There are several eateries and shopping areas nearby and downtown is easily accessible with the interstate.
