The rooms were newly decorated and the bathrooms were nice. The tubs had not been replaced. The showered had a nice wide sprayer head. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The Metro was only a 5 minute walk from the Lobby. Our room was cool, quiet and the bed luxurious.

They had printed directions to everywhere in the area. Very friendly staff. Parking was free Sunday.

Food was average. No good restaurants nearby.

The 582-room Marriott Key Bridge provides luxury accommodation for the discerning business traveler or families prepared to pay a little more on their vacation to explore the nations capital. The 14-story, non-smoking hotel is three miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and three blocks from the Rosslyn DC Metro system station. The full-service hotel has 19 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the Potomac Ballroom, can accommodate 500 guests. Landmarks and attractions within an easy commute include the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, Iwo Jima Memorial and the National Zoo.

All the guestrooms, and 20 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. Many rooms have spectacular views of downtown Washington and the added benefit of a refrigerator. Guests on the concierge levels have the advantages of a continental breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres served in the concierge lounge.

This hotel has been around for decades. Several clients who stayed here in the 1970s still use the property and say the high standards set then are still maintained today. The décor, furnishings and rooms have changed several times, but the service and quality of accommodation remains among the best in the area. Those old timers continue to recommend the hotel to others as do the younger generation making their first visits here.
