The hotel is convienently located to the metro and the downtown area and museums are very accessible. The complimentary breakfast was welcome before a day of sightseeing and included hot food items that changed daily. This balanced out the fact that you had to pay for parking. I also appreciated the kitchenette complete with full fridge, two burner stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. The hotel also offers 'brown bag' lunches for a nominal cost or will pick up groceries for you to stock your fridge free of charge. Overall, a great hotel for the price and one that I would recommend or stay at again.

The pet-friendly 299 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Pentagon City adjoins a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment complex and provides quality accommodation for the long or short stay business or leisure traveler. The 17-story, non-smoking property has suites that have full kitchens and separate sleeping, living and dining areas. Items included in the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, dinner and drinks at a managers reception on Monday through Thursday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are eight meeting rooms for business or social events. The largest, the Pentagon Ballroom, can accommodate 150 guests. The inn is just minutes from the Pentagon, and other landmarks and attractions within an easy commute include the Arlington National Cemetery, the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, Iwo Jima Memorial and the National Zoo.

This Residence Inn gets great reviews from both short-term clients and those who were here for a little longer. The location, next to the Pentagon and less than three miles from the White House, was a major attraction for those visiting the nations capital. The well-equipped suites, affordable rates and a team of dedicated personnel, all made this a place that most clients want to visit again. Words of advice from former clients: Suites on the higher floors have great views of DC.
