Pretty good business hotel. Construction around the site is on going.

Lovely hotel in a central location. Shuttle available to metro which makes it easily accessible. Poor parking facilities which is annoying. What is further more annoying is that the hotel made me park at a private parking lot for which I had to pay despite me being a customer. The bathroom is cramped and has no tub. Towels are not replaced everyday. But the rooms are other wise beautiful and service is good.

No tub in bathroom, bathroom cramped, no parking.

Rooms come with a choice of king or two double beds and views of the airport, river or city area. Amenities include work desk with Internet access, large bathroom with hairdryer, cable TV, IDD telephones with voicemail and video messages. Guests in the more expensive business plan rooms get a complimentary buffet breakfast, free local phone calls, a daily newspaper and iron and ironing board.

The hotel has two restaurants, the Chesapeake Grill and Cinnabar and two lounges. The fitness center and health club is fully equipped and there is a jogging track and cycle trails close to the hotel. The heated outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. No complaints about this hotel since its major renovation. Plus points noted by many former visitors were the large flat-screen TVs, attractive rates and the free shuttle that operates between the hotel, the DC Metro and the airport. Helpful friendly service and quality dining were other items that guests enjoyed.
